Occupying a formerly empty site, the Fauver Field residences are situated to preserve and enhance a busy pedestrian path from the center of campus via Foss HIll to university athletic facilities at Freeman Center, in addition to creating the edges of a new landscaped green for use by the building’s residents. 

The upperclass residence is comprised of 20 five bedroom apartments for students and 2 2-bedroom apartments for resident advisors. Each level provides quiet study and lounge areas. The building entrance is from a large outdoor terrace which faces the shared green on one side and the buildings common living room on the other.
